The Iron Heart 10.5oz Herringbone Painter's Pants in indigo take one of workwear's most utilitarian silhouettes and build it from a fabric that was made for exactly this kind of hard use. The 10.5oz Japanese herringbone twill is woven with uneven yarns that add texture and heft, with rope-dyed indigo warp and a white weft that will fade and evolve with the same vintage character as Iron Heart's hickory stripe and Wabash shirtings. The painter's pant construction is loaded: hand warmer pockets with coin pouch, two additional side pockets, half-lined rear pockets, a hammer loop, zipper fly, brass reinforcement rivets, and belt loops anchored at three points and sewn into the waistband. Triple-stitched side seams, chainstitched construction, and bar tack reinforcements throughout make these as overbuilt as everything else Iron Heart produces.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 35 in these. The painter's pants are quite roomy, and bigger in the waist than a lot of the denim...so he likely should be wearing a 33 for an unbelted fit. We would recommend you only size up once in these if you don't know your IH size, but stick with your true size if you do. Tommy is 5'9," 165bs with a 33-34" waist.
